Powerpoint Activities

What?
This week our class learned about creating Powerpoints. We will work as a team to create a one.
So What?
I will definitely be using Powerpoints as a college student. Powerpoints come in handy when presenting an assignment in class. I feel as though I will use this tool a lot while I am school and in the future when I am a teacher. Powerpoints make presentations a lot more interesting you just have to be careful how much you use them.
I like it when other colleagues use powerpoints in their presentations because I find it a lot easier to follow along. I also like powerpoints because I am a visual learner. I feel as though my colleagues will use this tool a lot as well. I have heard a lot of good things about using powerpoints from other students.
Now What?
I feel as though this technology means a lot to my future students. I think they will like when I use powerpoints in class and its also a great tool to learn as a student to use for the future. I can assign my students to work together as a group to present an assignment by using powerpoints. This will allow the students to ask me questions about this feature and allow them to get more familiar with it.
I really feel that this is such a great tool to learn about now. I will get more familiar with the tools that powerpoints offer and be able to make my powerpoints more interesting for my students. I am excited to incorporate powerpoints into my classroom when I am a teacher.
Video Reflection
This week we watched Do You Believe In Me? This was a really good video. I really think its impressive how this child dares to speak infront of such a large group. I also think its really neat how he is inspiring adults. This video is very encouraging.
